Hey, Nicole. What’s the deal with Social Networking sites and can they help me earn money with InfoProfitshare.com?

The short answers are:

“Social Networking sites are just another tool”

I’ll be honest with you. I’m not an expert in Social Networking and Web 2.0. I’m learning, too. But, I am a stats-watcher and I have been watching my web stats … and I can SEE that it works. With minimal effort on my part, I’m seeing an increase in traffic from several of my experiments.

The best part? It’s not costing me anything, but a small bit of time.

Here’s the deal. You must have your own website or blog AND you will definitely want to have an ezine or ecourse prominently displayed on that page. (Don’t have an ecourse or list yet? Grab ours.)

From there, you just use the following sites to get more exposure to your website/blog.

1. Stumble Upon. To me, stumble upon is a bit trickier than Swype since you are supposed to be “stumbling” other people’s stuff (not your own). I have asked friends to keep an eye on my blog and stumble posts they’ve enjoyed and it’s been helping me to get more traffic. But, I do not have my own Stumble-Upon account … yet.

2. Mumdinger. This is one for Moms Only.

3. Digg.com, Reddit.com, Utterz.com, etc… there are tons of these sites.

4. Twitter. Now, this one is a bit different. It’s also quite addictive, so be forewarned that it can be incredibly time-consuming. However, if you have a bunch of friends you Twitter with, and you’re working on something, you can easily post a link to it and have others click through to check it out. There’s a bit more to it than that, but that’s the basics. It’s like a group chat.

Yes, they are great reports! Jimmy really shares a lot in those reports, and I recommend that every affiliate reads the free reports before giving them away.

Here’s a question I received today…

I’ve just received the email and now have complete access to your website. From what I’m understanding, I now need a website (which I don’t have nor know how to get one. I thought you would be providing this. I’m definitely not website & internet savvy.) Also, from the Quick Start portion, I’m needing also web hosting and to purchase a domain. I’m currently unemployed and desperate for immediate cash, but I think I’m being asked to spend money at this point. Is this the case? Please advise.

You can use your affiliate links as a website if you’d like. We simply recommend building a website so you have an ongoing business for years to come. It’s simply a fact that building an online presence makes solid business sense.

However, I understand your concerns and here are some options for you to get started promoting the affiliate program without spending a dime…

1. Create a Squidoo Lens:
Here is a simple way to create a page where you can promote your affiliate links.

2. Posting on Forums:
Here is some information about promoting your affiliate link on forums.

3. Set up a blogger blog:
It could not possibly be easier to set up a blog with http://blogger.com . Just select a name, then a template, and start writing.

Of course, these aren’t our preferred methods to build a long-term business. You will want your own website and your own list down the road, but, we understand that, some of you don’t have any money to invest in your business right now and would prefer to get started without any roadblocks in your way.

Nicole, how do I promote these products if I don’t have a list?

My first response (as I’ve been trained very well by Jimmy) is GET ONE!

However, if you’re not ready for that step, you may, instead, purchase advertising through other publishers.

There are both paid and free lists of ezine publishers who sell ads.

You asked for it. You got it.

I’ve been getting requests for a prewritten ecourse or series of emails that you can use to build YOUR list and promote the products in InfoProfitShare.com. Yep. Jimmy’s pretty cool, isn’t he?

So, here’s what we’ve done. We took one of Jimmy’s PAID courses (21 Inbox Tips For Increasing Your Profit) and turned it into an autoresponder series. We batted it back and forth a bit until we figured out how it would work best for you.

Here’s what we came up with.

In each of the 21 Tips/emails, there is an intro (from you), a tip (from Jimmy), and a closing (from you).

You can edit and personalize the intro and the closing and even swap out some of the product recommendations with other of Jimmy’s products. HOWEVER, what you may not do is pretty obvious. You may not edit Jimmy’s words, claim them as your own, or promote anyone else’s products in these 21 tips. AND, of course, you can not spam. I think that’s fair. Don’t you?

There are two ways to get these tips into your autoresponder:
1. If you have an existing autoresponder sequence that you’d like to add them to, just open this file and add the messages.

2. If you use aweber.com (the autoresponder that Jimmy and I use) and you’re starting a new list, you can load the campaign in directly from my account. Just watch the video below for instructions.

WARNING/ABSOLUTELY READ!!!! — Only apply the campaign-sharing information in this video to a new list. If you enter the campaign-sharing code into an existing autoresponder, it’ll OVER-WRITE that follow-up series.

I’ll paraphrase, but, basically, he said that he’s sending out the branded report for SmallReportsFortune.com. In that report, it sends the readers through his link to the www.SmallReportsFortune.com page. On the landing page for SmallReportsFortune.com, he signed up for the free report again… and that report he received in his inbox was NOT branded. He was concerned that he would not receive credit for people who click through that second small report.

Here’s how clickbank (and most “good” affiliate programs work).

How do I integrate these products into the theme of my website without weakening the focus?

This ties into the post I have below about niches.

If your website is about Worm Herding, then the people in your circle of influence just MAY be interested in writing a small report about worm herding (how to buy a little worm lasso… lol). Anyway, my point is that you don’t have to try to compete in the Internet Marketing niche if you’re already established in another area.

Everyone wants to make money in EVERY NICHE. So, don’t get more scattered by starting new sites. Incorporate what we are offering into your existing business model so it ties into what you’re already offering.

Remember that FOCUS means Follow One Course Until Successful. So, don’t run around in circles. Stick with what you’ve started. That’s what I love about the SmallReportsFortune product.
