Is clickbank really tracking my affiliate ID?
Hi! I received a GREAT question this morning from one of our affiliates.
I’ll paraphrase, but, basically, he said that he’s sending out the branded report for SmallReportsFortune.com. In that report, it sends the readers through his link to the www.SmallReportsFortune.com page. On the landing page for SmallReportsFortune.com, he signed up for the free report again… and that report he received in his inbox was NOT branded. He was concerned that he would not receive credit for people who click through that second small report.
Here’s how clickbank (and most “good” affiliate programs work).
Once the visitor clicks through your affiliate link for ANY of our InfoProfitShare.com products.
www.smallreportsfortune.com
www.getemailresults.com
www.listprofitsystem.com
www.subjectlinesecrets.com
They get a tracking cookie placed on their computer.
When they buy any of our products within 60 days (not just the one you recommended), you’ll receive credit as long as they haven’t clicked through someone else’s referral link in between clicking yours and buying.
This works great, because we cross-promote Jimmy’s other products IN the free reports. So, if the person isn’t necessarily interested in one product, we may entice him or her to purchase another — and you get your commission either way.
Now, I don’t expect you to just trust me on this.
The way you can doublecheck is simple.
1. Click on your affiliate link for SmallReportsFortune.
2. Then, click here www.SubjectLineSecrets.com.
3. Click on the “order” link on the SubjectLineSecrets sales page. You’ll see a clickbank payment screen.
4. Look on the bottom of that page and it will say “affiliate = _____” and you will see YOUR affiliate ID there on the bottom of the page. (Refer to this video if you need a visual on this concept.)
See? Your link is there, too.
